After my lessons yesterday, I went to the bus stop and just sat there. It was windy as hell and not the pleasant southern type. I sat there with my arms on my french horn case and leaning over. And when the wind hit my face, I had a very morbid thought.
"Is this the cold you feel when you're dead?" (Also thought of The Cure's song, Plainsong. Lyrics.)
And I also think about Tool's song, H. Lyrics. Towards the bottom.
I've been listening to Tool as of late. It fits in with my current mood.
46 and 2 fits in because I want to keep evolving.
Sober because it reflects what I was.
The Patient because of all these tests.
Parabol and Parabola. Totally.
Disposition at times.
Reflection for today.
I think I'll snap out of this soon. I'm still healing, but I feel much better. Whether or not misfortune follows me around for however long, I can only accept it. I can't change it. Not yet.

I have the same connection with A Perfect Circle. Today, its The Outsider. They lyrics don't *perfectly* fit with me today, but some of them...as well as the 'sound' fits today. I also have this weird obession with Taproot's song Poem. I have it on repeat in my truck...not sure what that's about right now.
Anyway, I'm sorry you're so cold...that seems odd to me, since we're in the middle of a strange heat-wave right now. Maybe you guys got all of our cold weather? Well, you'd probably think it was cold here anyway, even if I think its warm. ;) Although I don't think that's a 'morbid' thought per se, as much as just a curiosity. ;)

Oh, I was listening to that song earlier today. Well, the original and the "Apocalypse" remix. I like the remix a bunch. If you haven't heard it, maybe I can post it on some webspace or something.
It's weird that I felt cold because I love the cold so much. We should switch places. You're right, you'd probably think it was warm. Well, maybe not warm, but cool. I think it was around 42 or so. I like the cold more at night.
Not a big Modest Mouse fan. I can see why people like them, but they just don't appeal to me. Eh...
Yes, please post the remix, if you can find it. I don't know if I've heard it.
